The state AHEC organization and its regional offices, in conjunction with the Montana Healthcare Recruitment Collaborative, a state wide network of healthcare-related organizations work to attract and retain more healthcare professionals into Montana's rural, frontier, and underserved areas. The South Central Montana Area Health Education Center is the coordinating body of the Collaborative.
